Under the new system, avatars can be chosen from a set palate, linked externally (from a site like Photobucket or Flickr), or uploaded to our servers. If you choose to upload or link a photo, please keep the following rules in mind:
1) The file size can be no larger than 10000 bytes, to save on loading times.
2) The file dimensions can be no larger than 200 x 200 pixels.
Members caught violating this rule will have five (5) days to change the image before it is deleted by an administrator. If too many violations of this sort occur, the option to link externally to pictures for use as avatars will be disabled.
