Here are some of the things that we talked about on the Monday, February 11th meeting:

Drag:

Based on resisting heteronormative ideology

Performing art

Genderfucking, moving away from establishment

Gender extreme sports

Lifestyle, not always for show

Regalia --> i will survive, i'm coming out, etc

Celebration of fluidity of gender

Some of the things that came to mind when we thought about "Drag Kings" and "Drag Queen"

-gay cis men and cis women "chering out"
shiny
-high cheekbones
-fuck
-Kitchy
-sexy
-burlesque
-political
-hot
-disco
-crispy
-dance
-exaggeration
-packing
-wigs

It was fun to see everyone's drawings!
